Did that, and -- as it still asked for 2.2 -- also the
mftrace.info, but to no avail.

I didn't find any other package lilypond-unstable depends on via

$ grep -l /sw/fink/10.3/unstable/main/finkinfo/*/*.info

Any other idea? -- And, yes, I also tried it by copying the info
and patch files to my local directory, and I ran fink index
before trying to install.
