It this is so, then there must be something wrong with the configuration of your FinkCommander, because pan exists in all distributions for 10.2 and 10.3. How many packages does FC show you altogether?


Until you repair your FC, you can also run the following from a command line in a Terminal window:

  sudo apt-get update
  sudo apt-get install pan

(If the first command gives you "File not found" messages, run

  fink scanpackages

first and then repeat the above two commands. There is a FAQ entry about this, too.)

This should normally have the same effect as choosing "Install from binary" in FC.
