As I suspected, I went into my source code folder and installed
render-0.8 xrender-0.8.3 freetype-2.1.9 and fontconfig-2.2.99 into my
X11R6 folder, and then did fink install pango1-xft2 and it configured
with the Freetype X Xft backends, and then installed fine. So how would
I go about fixing this in fink, or will users just have to do what I did?
