Yes, originally when I tried to install gnucash on a fresh copy of
fink, it complained about bonobo2-shlibs. But I was actually able to
install "libbonobo2-shlibs" successfully (I suppose I do not have old
Panther header files lying around).

After installing libbonobo2-shlibs, I attempted to install gnucash
again, but now it complains about "bonobo-shlibs" (see above quoted
output). I know of no way to satisfy this dependency, so that is
where I am stuck.

I have /Developer but I do not have a directory /Developer/SDKs. What
installs that? (I did install the developer tools that came on the
Tiger CD).

Please let us know if gnucash works on the clean install.

Interesting! My X11 is also 4.3. Perhaps this is related to the
really annoying behavior that when I switch to an aqua app and then
switch back to X11, the X11 windows do not get drawn over the aqua
windows. Every time I command-tab to X11.app, I have to press F10
twice to actually see the windows. I am going to try to install the
additional applications CD now. Thanks for pointing this out!
