I am trying to install the unstable gnucash on 10.3. Following some
advice posted here a couple days ago, to overcome various problems I am
trying to install its dependencies one at a time.
Somehow FinkCommander lost my preferences setting for unstable and
installed a bunch of stable stuff again. Then I reset it to stable, did
a SelfUpdate-CVS and update-all. Since then I've been using fink and
apt-get commands in Terminal.
My package system seems to be broken, in particular I can't get the
unstable crypto packages. I have done both apt-get update and fink
scanpackages.
I'm sure the following is a common problem, but I'm not that clueful so
I don't know how to fix it. Can you advise me? Thanks!
There *is* an unstable gnome-vfs-ssl-dev according to the Package search
at http://fink.sourceforge.net/ it's version 1.0.5-30.

Package gnome-vfs-ssl-dev has no available version, but exists in the
database.
This typically means that the package was mentioned in a dependency and
never uploaded, has been obsoleted or is not available with the contents
of sources.list
However the following packages replace it:
gnome-vfs-dev

(/sw/var/lib/apt/lists/_sw_fink_dists_unstable_crypto_binary-darwin-powerpc_Packages)
