That is correct. There's already a patch in fink's bugs tracker on
SF. I assume we need it for all dpkg (not just bootstrap), so let's
get this tested and into dpkg 10.4/unstable and quickly propagated to
stable and bootstrap. Gonna hafta release a new fink-0.2[34].x, but
may make sense to wait a few days to shake out any other such critical
stuff.
