| Hi, let's summarize: I was going to install Octave on my system. I started to install it and, at a certain point, I had an error where it couldn't find "tex". Somebody suggested me to install tetex-base. I was installing it right now and, after a hour of installation or so, I had this error: /usr/lib/gcc/powerpc-apple-darwin8/4.0.0/../../../libm.dylib(scandir.So) definition of _scandir /usr/bin/ld: Undefined symbols: _maxrugnum collect2: ld returned 1 exit status make[2]: *** [aleph] Error 1 make[1]: *** [all] Error 1 make: *** [all] Error 1 ### execution of make failed, exit code 2 Failed: compiling tetex-3.0-1 failed Somebody could help me to understand why it fails to compile?
