I have recently installed Fink 0.8, which initially worked fine. I then
updated the system, which (unfortunately) updated the packages from CVS.
Now my tex installation is broken, as latex has been replaced by etex,
which is not mature yet. When using latex, it now runs as "pdftex" and
produces a pdf file. All switches such as -format, -output-format etc.
have been unsuccessful in trying to make etex produce a dvi file.
How can I fix this?
