OK, I think I see now what they (the xfree86 folks) did to break this.
Stan, could you try the following:
Modify the xfig.info file in the following simple way: In the
CompileScript line
make xfig CCOPTIONS=-no-cpp-precomp PREFIX=%p
remove the word "xfig", so that it reads
make CCOPTIONS=-no-cpp-precomp PREFIX=%p
and see if this doesn't cure your problem. If it works, we can make this
change official; it doesn't break my build in any case.
