All right, take that back. This is the reason I did not launch
an update-all for quite some time actually: every time I do it
it seems that something breaks. I the install of firefox went
without problem, but I had neglected to quit and restart firefox.
Now it won't run and gives me the following error:
[Berlin ~]$ firefox&
[1] 17484
[Berlin ~]$ /sw/lib/firefox/run-mozilla.sh: line 451: 17496 Bus error
"$prog" ${1+"$@"}
[1]+ Exit 138 firefox
The number appearing before Bus error changes each time, but otherwise
the message is the same.
(By the way I thought exit codes could not be larger than 128?)
I know there's a fix proposing to remove the
"~/.mozilla/firefox/randomstring.default/xpti.dat"
file, but I do not have a randomstring.default directory in my
firefox directory. Here is its content:
