OK--now it's becoming clearer--looks like it had already been installed,
hence "nothing to install".
You probably need to go for "fink rebuild amarok", because what's
happened is that due to some error in the build you've built a .deb
archive that lacks the executables, and using "fink install amarok" just
unpacks the selfsame files.
You may want to try to capture the output of this build in case there's
another problem:
fink rebuild amarok 2>&1 | tee amarok.log
should do the trick
