Besides the fact that I now don't know how to resize my gnuchash
window (even though otherwise X seems a bit speedier actually and
stuff like Nicotine still works great) I still get gnucash hanging
and gconfd-1 crashing as noted below.
Are you still using quartz-wm?
How would I know? I don't have my own .xinitrc and I don't see quartz-
wm in the standard xinit
I even recursively purged gconf and source reinstalled it and gnucash
with no luck. Any help would greatly be appreciated
"reinstall" or "rebuild"? SInce the former just re-extracts from the
.deb archive, if you've somehow generated a bad setup (and/or it was
related to Apple X11 vs. Xorg) you'll have the same problems as
before.
I did a purge first so all configuration files should have been
eliminated, no? If not I will do a rebuild.
