Before reading your answer I've run "sudo apt-get update" and the
warning message has gone away, so I think you were right.
It appears that emacs21-nox has a bogus dependency on libncurses5
(which is headers and a few dylib symlinks) instead of on
libncurses5-shlibs (the real dylibs)
How can I fix it?
You can temporarily remove emacs21-nox and reinstall it after you're
done, I guess--I've cc'ed the emacs21-nox maintainer as well.
Done.
Thanks for your help.
Andrea.
