Hi, At long last, I made the leap to Tiger (all the way from Jaguar).
I started from scratch and reinstalled everything; everything fink went extremely smoothly. :-) I do have a question, though: I installed python23, but didn't get a /sw/bin/python, which is usually a link to /sw/bin/python2.3. I tried python24, too, and had the same problem. According to dpkg on my old box, /sw/bin/python is part of the "python" package, but that seems to require python24 under this version of fink and/or the package database. So how do I get a /sw/bin/python that points to /sw/bin/python2.3? I can make the link myself, but I can only believe that doing so is asking for trouble down the road.
