xpaint's build process is a mess:( I just committed a new version (2.7.8.1) with an improved set of patches to the scripts. It builds cleanly on 10.3 with Apple's X11. I'd love some feedback on whether this new version builds, especially with the --build-as-nobody flag, using x.org or xfree86, and also on 10.4 with various X11 providers.
