I also thank Jeff. I've had pyqt and sip packages sitting in the
package tracker for over five months, waiting for them to get through
through the submission process. It is good to see sip and pyqt
packages finally in fink. Now if I can only get my flyway package
through the submission process, which is why I originally created my
sip and pyqt packages ...
For people who are looking for a particular package - it is
worthwhile taking a look at what is sitting in the package submission
tracker (available as a link from the main Fink web page). There are
over 200 packages in the submission process, and sometimes the
package you want has been created, and is just waiting for
approval. You can download the .info and .patch files, put them in
your local tree and try them out. Add feedback, good or bad, to the
item in the package tracker. Any feedback is useful.
