Do you have problems with installing geant4 or with compiling the
examples? As Hans has problems with the examples, I assume you mean
the latter. Otherwise, you need to tell me more about the problems
you have.
The issue Hans had was that the dependency files (*.d) found in ~/
geant4/tmp/Darwin-g++/ still point to a previous version of geant4.
You can remove anything in there.
