Does anybody have a clue or experience the same problem? Thanks for

You might try rebuilding it ("fink rebuild shared-mime-info"). Maybe
your existing .deb file is corrupt.

That did the trick thanks. I didn't know the rebuild-command could
help here.
sorry, i forgot to do an install afterwards... still the same issue.
shared-mime-info won't install.
