Has anyone managed to successfully install svk with fink?
/tmp# fink list -i svk

This is good news, at least it worked on your machine.

Did just a 'fink install svk' or did you force fink to ignore the self-test errors for the svk-pm module?

... svk-pm581-bin as well as svk-pm586-bin. Which is the recommended version for a OS X 10.4.3 system?
Your output was from 581.
Anyone "should" work, but I would suggest to stick with 586 on 10.4 unless specific reasons.

Thats what I though too. But neither of the versions (581 or 586) did work on my machine.

Best regards,
 Christian
