I tried it, but this does not change the situation, I
did:
Binary -> Update descriptions (which does apt-get
update) and then
Ablage -> Daten erneuern (in English File -> Update
Table)
Afterwards Fink Commander still shows that all the
installed packages are up to date (e. g. fink
0.21.2-1, no newer version available).
If I look at the packages listings with the fink
command (e. g. fink list -o) the result is the same,
no outdated package is reported. I think the problem
has nothing to do with Fink Commander.
