I recently created a clean fink install to try the 10.4 branch. I
have a problem that gnomeprint doesn't like me at all, so I've been
digging around and grasping at straws. In the /sw/etc/profile.d,
there are files that result in
XDG_DATA_HOME=/Users/dbr/.local/share
XDG_DATA_DIRS=/sw/share
XDG_CONFIG_HOME=/Users/dbr/.config
XDG_CONFIG_DIRS=/sw/etc/xdg
XDG_CACHE_HOME=/Users/dbr/.cache
being added to my environment. The only one of these directories that
exists is /sw/share. Should I be worried about the absence of the
others? In particular, it seems odd to me that /sw/etc/xdg isn't
created.
