FWIW, my mac/fink info is as follows
Package manager version: 0.24.15
Distribution version: 0.7.2.rsync
Mac OS X version: 10.3.9
It seems the /usr/bin/grep that comes with Panther doesn't understand
the -m flag that appears in the latest version of distcc.[c]sh.
