Hi All, % fink --version Package manager version: 0.23.10 Distribution version: 0.7.0.cvs
My system: MBP/10.4.6 - I installed fink from Fink-0.8.0-Installer.dmg I'm trying to update fink for Intel, but keep running into problems. I try fink selfupdate and I get a bunch of 'WARNING: Deprecated multi- line format used for property *' lines after 'Reading package info...' followed by: +++ Updating package index... done. Information about 1382 packages read in 4 seconds. No packages to install. E: Some index files failed to download, they have been ignored, or old ones used instead. ### execution of /sw/bin/apt-get failed, exit code 100 WARNING: Failure while downloading indexes.Running 'fink scanpackages' may fix this. The core packages have been updated. You should now update the other packages using commands like 'fink update-all'. +++ I've tried running 'fink scanpackages' and then 'fink selfupdate' again, but still the same messages happen. Is my installation foobar'd? What can I do? I've searched the archives, but couldn't find any info that helped.
