libXfixes is not provided by Apple's X11 in any way; most likely, something that you installed outside of fink created it, or you've downloaded binaries from someone who built against a more recent X11 (like X.org). There isn't really a good way around it than to try to figure out what's linked against the non-existent libXfixes and re-build it. - -- Benjamin Reed a.k.a.
