after checking some of the packages i currently use, i find that most of
them seem to be supported, with one major exception:
g77
being listed as 'not present' in both stable and unstable intel trees, but
present in the powerpc distributions.
is this a mistake or is there no fortran compiler available for the intel
distribution??
