hallo list, this is slightly off topic, I fear... well, it's on the border between linux and macos, I'll ask, you decide:
I'm used to linux and in linux to WindowMaker... there I have windows without decorations which I place near the top or bottom of the screen... dockapps.org... and I'm mantainer of a small python library for developing dockapps in python: pywmdockapps.sourceforge.net... well, is there any way to have an application in mac os x showing without decorations? how do I do that? being that an X client, is there any way I can inform the X server that there is a whole category of clients which do not want any decorations... or do I need specifying that for each individual application? I've not yet tested if that works, does it? thanks, regards, MF -- If we knew what we were doing, it wouldn't be research. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Using Tomcat but need to do more?
