Hi fink users,
I have a MAC-OSX with intel core 2 duo processor. I wanted to install
g77 from fink commander(version-0.5.4). But I faced
following trouble in installing g77.
1. First I came to know that g77 is an unstable package. So, I enabled
unstable packages.
2 . Then I installed Xcode_2.4.1 from apple developer's toolkit( as a
requirement).
3. Then when I tried to install it using Fink commader, after trying to
compile it for a while, it failed and recommended self-
update.(or try my luck in fink user's mail).
4. But after I updated Fink commander, I could not find g77 as a pckage in
the list.
instead it has a gfortran-shilbs which according to GNU is under construction .
So, can any of you give me some idea how I can install fortran compiler in my
Mac?
