Daniel,

Sorry for the delay.  I can't reproduce my original problem now.  The  
package builds just fine for me now.  I think it was because I did  
not have Xcode Tools installed before.  I installed them between then  
and now, and everything works now.

I don't want to remove Xcode to test this, but I bet that was the cause.
