Hi
I'm trying to install ROOT5 on my power mac (intel, 4 core). I have
previously installed it on my macbook pro (2 core intel) with no problem, so
I'm confused. I have installed the most recent dev-tools and used the cvs
fink update and install. It downloaded and ran for a long time before giving
up at:

Before reporting any errors, please run "fink selfupdate" and
try again. If you continue to have issues, please check to see if the
FAQ on fink's website solves the problem. If not, ask on the fink-users
or fink-beginners mailing lists. As a last resort, you can try e-mailing
the maintainer directly:
Remi Mommsen <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
any ideas?
thanks,
Ray Brock
