Hi folks,

thanks to the pointer. This sounds not so nice. I'll investigate if  
there is a known fix (for make, dpkg, anything). Once I know more  
about the issue, I will get back to you and make a proposal as to how  
to resolve this (update/fix make, update/fix dpkg/debconf, downgrade  
make via epoch, or something else...).
