Hi, I've been using my fink-setup with fetchmail for a long time, starting with Tiger. I never observed any problems. Now under Leopard, fetchmail sometimes gets in a zombie-like state, when it doesn't fetch any more messages and returns the following in the log:
[..] Feb 29 16:27:03 lux fetchmail[28729]: lecture du message [EMAIL PROTECTED]@post.webmailer.de:28 parmi 28 (7747 octets) Feb 29 16:27:03 lux procmail[19481]: Unknown user "baaden" Feb 29 16:27:03 lux fetchmail[28729]: MDA a retourn̩ un ̩tat non nul (67) Feb 29 16:27:03 lux fetchmail[28729]: non ̩limin̩ [..] (sorry for the french, I try to translate the essentials) reading message 28 of 28 Unknown user "baaden" MDA has returned a non zero state (67) Not eliminated I then have to kill fetchmail and restart it, and things get back to normal for a while. The intervals are very variable. My system was stable for about 3 weeks, now the problems started again, I killed and restarted, and it took about 10 minutes for the problem to reappear. Do others also observe this behavior? Any hints?
