opencdk and opencdk10 seem not to be swapping each other out smoothly - my update-all on PPC 10.4.11 server has been stopping because of this. If I manually do fink install opencdk I get:
/sw/bin/dpkg-lockwait -i /sw/fink/dists/unstable/crypto/binary-darwin-powerpc/opencdk_0.5.13-4_darwin-powerpc.deb dpkg: regarding .../opencdk_0.5.13-4_darwin-powerpc.deb containing opencdk: opencdk10 conflicts with opencdk-dev opencdk provides opencdk-dev and is to be installed. /sw/bin/dpkg: error processing /sw/fink/dists/unstable/crypto/binary-darwin-powerpc/opencdk_0.5.13-4_darwin-powerpc.deb (--install): conflicting packages - not installing opencdk I manually removed opencdk with no problem, but when I restarted the "update-all" I noticed in the additional packages it now wants to install both opencdk and opencdk10. So I am expecting problems later. However, it just failed to build maxima, with an error I remember having before, so I'm off to search the archives for that one next. -- Viv ------------------------------------------------ Dr Viv Kendon http://quantum.leeds.ac.uk/~viv Quantum Information Physics & Astronomy University of Leeds ------------------------------------------------------------------------- This SF.net email is sponsored by the 2008 JavaOne(SM) Conference Register now and save $200.
