Hi,

As there is a massive update, I guess everyone is busy but just in case if
you want to run Amarok on Fink tree right now.

Make sure you have XCode 3.1 (unfortunately, 1 gig download), X11 2.3.0
 from http://xquartz.macosforge.org and 10.5.4/PPC OS X.

Install "gsm" package manually (libxine1 seems missing that dependency, it
is a tiny lib) and fink -y install amarok

Of course, all packages must be current, unstable version, it is a complex
application.

I have notified both Amarok and Libxine1 maintainers about the missing gsm
dependency on libxine1.

It seems a XCode 3.0 bug created that complex looking asm error while
building libxine1 (like opengl one) and it never reached point of
complaining about libgsm.

I thought I better share. BTW, Amarok runs very fine with "coreaudio"
output. Other outputs are looking a bit problematic.

Have a nice day

Ilgaz
