I can see a couple of things that might lead to this failure. Could
you check a couple of things:
1. 'fink list -it python'
2. 'fink list -l /sw/bin/python*'
3. 'ls /sw/src/fink.build/root-plplot-5.8.0-1010/sw/lib'
