Ah.  That'd be the problem.

The suspicious part is that this missing header doesn't appear  
anywhere on my 10.4 setup:  I've got /usr/X11R6/include/GL/gl.h, / 
System/Library/Frameworks/AGL.framework/Versions/A/Headers/gl.h,
and
/System/Library/Frameworks/OpenGL.framework/Versions/A/Headers/gl.h
