My impression, as a frequent writer of AppleScripts, is that mentioning application foo in a script will cause the Script Editor (or maybe the script runner) to attempt to open application foo before the script is actually run. At least this seems to happen in OS X 10.4. I don't use 10.5. -- Jonathan ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Create and Deploy Rich Internet Apps outside the browser with Adobe(R)AIR(TM) software.
