I been complaining about fink warning that
packages can't Depend on xcode for ages. It is
simply wrong-headed to do that. There have been
several times that FSF gcc has required fixes
from a newer Xcode's cctools to properly
assemble or link code generated by FSF gcc.
It is essential that the gcc4x packages be
able to Depends on a particular version of
Xcode in that case. Otherwise, a user can
install a binary version of the gcc4x packages
that will install but won't properly work
because the wrong Xcode is present.
