There are a couple issues. Yahoo Europe returns data differently from the rest of the Yahoo worldwide financial sites. Which version of finance-quote are you using. 1.15 is significantly better than prior versions for things relating to yahoo europe. And finance-quote doesn't purport to support fund quotes at Yahoo- Europe, just stocks. There's a patch on the gnucash mailing lists that I wrote which appears to solve this problem for me and a few European users who have tried it. Finance-quote upstream hasn't been particularly receptive.
