Using a clean bootstrap, I can recreate this
problem with a simple...
fink -k rebuild glib2
Information about 8404 packages read in 1 seconds.
The following package will be rebuilt:
glib2
The following 4 additional packages will be installed:
glib2-dev glib2-shlibs gnome-doc-utils gtk-doc

Failed: Problem resolving dependencies. Check for circular dependencies.
It is obvious that gnome-doc-utils (which needs glib) can't
pre-exist the build of glib itself.
