I'm compiling a variety of Tcl/Tk packages with C (using mktclapp). When the
program is compiled using /sw/lib/tcl8.4/auto.tcl, the compilation is OK but,
the following message is output upon program execution:
missing close-brace: possible unbalanced brace in comment
while executing
"proc tcl_findLibrary {basename version patch initScript enVarName varName} {
upvar #0 $varName the_library
global env errorInfo
set dirs {}
set errors..."
(file "../../tcltk_macIN/lib/tcl8.4/auto.tcl" line 14)
invoked from within
"source ../../tcltk_macIN/lib/tcl8.4/auto.tcl"
(in namespace eval "::" script line 1)
invoked from within
"namespace eval :: $auto_index($name)"
(procedure "auto_load" line 10)
invoked from within
"auto_load $name [uplevel 1 {::namespace current}]"
(autoloading "tcl_findLibrary")
invoked from within
"tcl_findLibrary tk $tk_version $tk_patchLevel tk.tcl TK_LIBRARY tk_library"
(procedure "tkInit" line 4)
invoked from within
"tkInit"
I'm upgrading to the Fink-supplied 8.4.19-1 on a Mac-Intel (10.5.6) from a
PowerPC where I was building my own Tcl/Tk packages. When I substitute in the
auto.tcl from that version (8.4.6), re-compile, and execute, the program runs
OK.
Thanks, Jeff
