I'm stuck in a loop with automake and autoconf versions not
automatically replacing themselves properly.

At the point where this starts, I've just manually removed
automake1.11...

While trying to install:
   autoconf2.13-2.13-5

The following inconsistencies found:
   Unsatisfied dependency in automake1.11: autoconf (>= 2.63-1)

Trying to resolve dependencies...
Could not resolve inconsistent dependencies!

Fink isn't sure how to install the above packages safely. You may be able to
fix things by running:

   fink scanpackages
   sudo apt-get update
   sudo apt-get install autoconf2.13=2.13-5

Failed: Fink::SysState: Could not resolve inconsistent dependencies

At this point, if I try the fix it recommends, it fails
because automake1.11 is now installed. So I manually remove
it and it goes round the loop again :(

This is on OSX 10.5.6 server, case sensitive G5 Mac Pro.
powerpc-apple-darwin9-gcc-4.0.1 (GCC) 4.0.1 (Apple Inc.
build 5490)

I've selfupdated an hour or so earlier, it is the update-all
I'm now trying to do...
