Oh brilliant, many thanks! I've had those lines in my .Xresources file for years. They give nice shading to xterms with scrollbars. It is enough to comment out the Scrollbar.translations bit to fix xmgrace sliders.
But why has it suddenly started to be a problem?? I reverted my X11 back to a version a year old and it didn't change anything. And the version of X11 my xmgrace was built against is older than that. Even one built on Tiger shows the problem when installed on my Leopard system. Anyway, having a fix is the next best thing to knowing what the problem was, so many thanks again! -- Viv On Sun, 19 Jul 2009, Alexander Hansen wrote: > Very interesting!
