apt-get is completely independent here. It uses your http proxy, but I don't know of a way to make rsync do that. Unfortunately, I don't think we've currently got a "selfupdate" solution that works behind a sufficiently restrictive firewall, as rsync is almost always blocked, and I don't think our cvs-proxy package has worked in a while. - -- Alexander Hansen Fink User Liaison -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.10 (Darwin) Comment: Using GnuPG with Mozilla - http://enigmail.mozdev.org/ iEYEARECAAYFAkqpO2cACgkQB8UpO3rKjQ//EgCfaUDDcFM9ZamDr7nwESWE1sPM hasAn1KQ6eR4xuRqT084pbiMqhKa5d5t =GO8j -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Let Crystal Reports handle the reporting - Free Crystal Reports 2008 30-Day trial.
