Sigh. Looking through their bugzilla, firefox3 is not 64bit ready at all either. There has been significant progress upstream, but it probably won't come out until version 3.6 at the latest (probably 3.7). For now, I've marked firefox3 as 32bit only as well. gnome-core is cc'd because I know some of their stuff depends on firefox2/3 and should be limited to i386/powerpc as well.
