i think i wasn't clear enough about this case. fontconfig-20090923-101
builds the same regardless of whether fontconfig-20090408-101 is installed.
that is, either way, it used to fail to compile due to a missing LSOpen.h,
and now it compiles fine. i merely removed the old version to prevent it
from being pulled in by `fink update-all`. in other words, i don't think
there is a separate bug here that needs fixing.

thanks! i was looking for it at <http://developer.apple.com/tools> and <
http://developer.apple.com/technology>, where only the latest Xcode is
listed.

in case it's relevant to someone, prior to the issues with LSOpen.h i had
Xcode 3.1.4 installed via its XcodeTools.mpkg. perhaps the mpkg didn't work
as i expected (leaving out at least one core header), or perhaps some system
update broke it, or perhaps it was something else altogether. anyway,
reinstalling DevSDK.pkg fixed the issues.
