So I finally gave in a bootstrapped a 32 bit fink and successfuly built kmail4-mac. However, this app (i.e., calling open on kmail.app) won't start either. If a call the executable directly, I get some error messages (below). These appear to be akonadi related, just like the 64bit kmail. So perhaps something is broken in akonadi or one of its dependencies? Has anybody successfully used the kmail from 4.4.x in any fink variant?
