Normally _ provided you've already built ibgettext3-dev (i.e., you find the deb file in /sw/fink/debs) "dpkg -i /sw/fink/debs/libgettext3-dev_*" should give you full diagnostics about why there is a problem _ or would succeed..
But the 0.14.5-2 : I have, in the unstable tree, 0.14.5-4, and I see it is the same in the stable tree ... What is your fink setup ??
