LOL!
Yeah, I got the respective lists, but the next trick is to do some creative grep-ing or such to compare the abiword dependecncy list and versions with what fink lists...

Anyone else - Dan?
If not, I guess I could rock my Saturday night by comparing them manually with my eyes.

Thanks,
-Matt

That'd be the problem. I'd have told you if I knew exactly what to do. :-)

Assuming no one has a basic install handy for just this purpose, tell me
what to do...once I have the output from those fink commands.

Well, one fix in, but one (or) more needed:
-----
Can't resolve dependency "libwv3-shlibs" for package "abiword-2.8.4-3" (no
matching packages/versions found)
Exiting with failure.
-----

I'm using stable-only of the very latest fink on the latest Snow Leopard.
Is there an easy way to check for other dependencies?  If not, let m eknow
when I can try this one and see if it's the last.

Thanks,

You can use "fink show-deps abiword" or "fink dumpinfo -fdepends
-fbuilddepends abiword" to get all of the dependencies, but you'd need
to process the output further to pass the results into "fink list" to
automate checking for any missing packages.
