Hi, I was trying to remove Growl from my system and -- rather haphazardly (mea culpa!) -- I corrupted one or more of the fink configuration files (not sure which ones). As a result, any fink install or update fails with "Could not find notifier 'Growl'! Please fix your fink.conf". However, I see no reference to Growl in a backup fink.conf that I have. It must have been a different file, perhaps under lib or var, not sure.
Any suggestions how to fix this without reinstalling fink from scratch or doing more damage?
