I've had fink working for a while, but when I tried to do a self-update
followed by an update-all it fails to compile gconf2. I get the following
error:
glibtoolize: Consider adding `-I m4' to ACLOCAL_AMFLAGS in Makefile.am.
configure.in:265: warning: macro `AM_GLIB_GNU_GETTEXT' not found in library
configure.in:265: error: possibly undefined macro: AM_GLIB_GNU_GETTEXT
If this token and others are legitimate, please use m4_pattern_allow.
See the Autoconf documentation.
autoreconf: /usr/bin/autoconf failed with exit status: 1
### execution of autoreconf failed, exit code 1
I found some other people complaining about a similar error on different
platforms and it seems to be caused by either gettext or autoconf. But I
have both those libraries installed and up to date.
My system info:
Package manager version: 0.30.2
Distribution version: selfupdate-rsync Wed Jul 20 08:56:26 2011, 10.6,
x86_64
Trees: local/main stable/main stable/crypto
Xcode Version: 3.2.6-1
Thanks,
Kostatus
